Cleveland Orthodox Christian Missions

Orthodox Charities of Cleveland

Cleveland Orthodox Christian Missions was formed in 2003 to promote and support the charitable work of the two Eastern Orthodox monastic communities in Cleveland, Ohio.  Today, it is being revitalized to bring awareness to the four major local Orthodox charities.

​St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Mission & Chapel

Founded in 1992, St. Mary of Egypt maintains regular and emergency distribution of food and necessities to local families in need.
​The St. Mary of Egypt Chapel is under the spiritual authority of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland, of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh.

ZOE For Life! -
An Orthodox Christian Initiative

Established in 1998, ZOE For Life! helps women in crisis pregnancies through the offering of counseling, housing and medical assistance, prenatal care, adoption, and other services.
ZOE is an endorsed organization of the Assembly of Canoncial Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.


St. Panteleimon
Orthodox Christian Outreach

Established in 2010, St. Panteleimon ministers to Orthodox Christians who are residents of local nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other group homes.
​​Under the spiritual protection of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lakewood.

​FOCUS Cleveland

Established in 1977, St. Herman provides clothing, shelter, a jobs program and other services for men in need, and food to needy families.  
St. Herman is a center of FOCUS North America.
